Decorations very beautiful with aperfect stage setting. The plot, the script, the photography, the direction and everything is just fine. However, with each viewing I love this film more and more. To prove I've sat through at least the first ten minutes of them I started making screenshots of the titles. Meanwhile, the brave monk Brother Francisco Giampiero Albertini, , openly confronts Huerta and urges the residents of Nuova Aragon to stand up for their rights. But Huerta threatens to kill Brother Francesco and arrests the Contessina after she rejects his advances. Alain Delon is just fit for the character, completely charismatic and passionate about the role rumour has it that Antony Delon asked his father to play Zorro as he was his favourite hero.Next
The last Duel is long but ofan excellent beauty and a precision. I think its fit for the movie. Zorro riding in the hoof-prints , relishes his secret identity in cape and blade and help the good people who are mistreated , thwarting the ambitious plans of the meanie official. The film is set in salty flavour of Old South American , New Aragon , rather than Old California , though it was filmed in Spain. The strength of the film lies in the animosity andrivalry of Delon and Baker put to good use as the villain. This is something I really like.Next
While Delon who, in his prime, was one of the most gorgeous menever created does well as Zorro and looks dashing in his costume--hisblue eyes jutting from behind the mask, he wildly overplays the foppishrole of the governor. The apps are synchronized with your account at Blu-ray. If you like 'Zorro: The Gay Blade 1981 ' or 'The Legend of Zorro 2005 ' then is possible that you might like 'Zorro 1975 '. The second reason is the film's attractive exotic look and not necessarily the Zorro character, as earlier films about him, such as Rouben Mamoulian's from the early '40s, were never really as popular across Europe. Alain Delon enjoys playing the dual roles as foppish Diego and the devilish and dashing Zorro. What this means is that even though there are portions of the film that look soft, the high-definition transfer has retained all of the grain that was on the master Somerville House had access to. It was kinda campy, but then again.Next
Lastly, Somerville House have removed a good number of scratches and debris, but there are still various small specks and occasionally even dirt spots. Alain Delon Alain Fabien Maurice Marcel Delon born 8 November 1935 is a French-Swiss actor. But secretly he masquerades as Zorro, and joins the monk Francisco and the beautiful aristocrat Hortensia in their fight for justice against Huerta and his soldiers. There are clearly different limitations with the presentation, but Zorro is the type of European adventure film that would have never received the lavish treatment major classic films do. If you're expecting the Good the Bad and the Ugly you'll be disappointed. I, like others, actually found the title song addictive in an annoying way. However smoothly it ran gave an excellent indication of how well the buffering in a system I played it on was! Sharpening corrections to make the film look 'better' than it could also have not been performed.Next
I remember my local theater used to show it at least once a year, for at least a month, together with another film starring Alain Delon, La tulipe noir a. The French actor Delon as the Main hero, Welsh actor Baker as the villain and the rest of the cast seem to be mainly Italian. By modern standards this French-Italian production may not seem terribly impressive, but many years ago it was a film that meant a lot to a lot of people across Europe. Zorro was lensed by Giulio Albonico Liliana Cavani's The Guest, Pasquale Squitieri's Gang War in Naples. It was released in the United States on June 1976. The heroine, Hortensia wow, what a name isadequate, and the mute servant is good for a few laughs.Next
. The only complaint I have with this movie is that Zorro theme music. He is a citizen of the community of Chêne-Bougeries in the canton of Geneva. The 'Zorro's Back' song by Oliver Onions is scarily contagious. Regardless, he's just perfect for the role of Zorro. When his friend Miguel is killed in the eve of his departure to the New World, Diego takes his place as the new governor who has arrived from Spain in order to avenge his friend's death.
The common themes of Zorro are there - The freeing of the slave labor, thelittle boy that assists Zorro in slapping the soldiers around, the priest, the Diego character. It's meant to be funny, but it falls short ofhumorous and winds up rather annoying. Zorro unites forces to Father Francisco Albertini and a beautiful aristocrat Ottavia Piccolo. If you ever wanted to own a decent release of Zorro, this is the one to get, folks. Alain Delon makes an appropriately aristocratic Diego, and he orhisstuntman provide an athletic, agile Zorro. The theme song heard over and over is sung by Oliver Onions! From the moment I heard the silly Zorro theme song, I knew thatthiswas the Zorro movie from my youth! Presented in its original aspect ratio of 1.Next
I am pleased with Somerville House's Blu-ray release of Duccio Tessari's Zorro, and I believe that anyone aware of the film's very poor home video releases during the years will be as well. The music is one of my favourite soundtracks. Immediately realizing that his life is in danger, Diego begins acting like an indecisive fool, thus giving Huerta the impression that he could easily manipulate him. Zorro-Delon fight evildoers and greedy colonel oppressor, while saving damsel in distress from a fate worse than death. I have always been a fan of Zorro, especially the Guy Williams interpretation.Next
